우리여성네트워크 멤버로 1990년대 일본군'위안부'문제해결운동에 적극적으로 참여했다. 국민기금 논란이 일어나자 '전후배상실현시민기금(戦後補償実現市民基金)'을 결성하여 국민기금 반대운동을 펼쳤다. 또한 2000년 '한국정신대연구소'가 출간한 <할머니 군위안부가 뭐예요?(일본어판: よくわかる韓国の「慰安婦」問題, 2002)>를 일본어로 번역했다.
